Vision installed a redesigned distributed antenna system (DAS) to enhance in-building coverage for AOL’s existing three-building, 600,000-square-foot campus in Dulles, Virginia. The system enhances coverage for wireless service providers (WSPs), who are AT&T Mobility, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. The Vision-provided DAS supports the wireless services currently deployed by the four (4) major Wireless Service Providers. The system is capable of supporting the spectrum currently licensed by these providers, but currently not in use on the AOL campus, such as 800MHz from Sprint and 1700MHz/2,100 MHz from AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile. Vision’s solution supports 2G, 3G, and 4G/LTE voice and data services throughout the AOL campus.
This DAS deployment enables AOL to leverage ubiquitous cell coverage for all its operational needs on campus.
