Vision Technologies President Kevin Nolan Announces Retirement; Allison Campitelli and Taylor Carr Appointed Co-Presidents

October 10, 2023

Vision Technologies (Vision), a national commercial and federal systems integrator, today announced a leadership transition as President Kevin Nolan prepares to retire. After a remarkable tenure marked by strategic innovation and growth over two decades as Vision’s co-founder, Nolan will step down, passing the torch to two exceptional leaders within the organization, Allison Campitelli and Taylor Carr, who will serve as Co-Presidents.

Nolan has served as President of Vision for the past four years, leading the company as President upon the retirement of Vision’s founding CEO, John Shetrone, last year. In his role as a founding partner and President of Vision, Nolan has been integral to Vision’s strategic direction and growth, during which time the company has seen unprecedented expansion and achieved numerous revenue milestones, reaching over $1.4 billion in aggregate revenue since inception. His dedication, vision, and leadership have been instrumental in driving the company’s success. Nolan will officially retire on December 31, 2023, with operations transitioning effective immediately while he remains with the company in a strategic advisory capacity.

Allison Campitelli and Taylor Carr, both Senior Vice Presidents of Operations at Vision, have been appointed as co-presidents to lead the company into its next chapter beginning today as they take over operations and strategic direction of the company. They bring a wealth of experience and a shared commitment to advancing Vision Technologies’ mission and vision.

Allison Campitelli joined Vision in early 2022, overseeing the operational performance of Vision’s Audio Visual, Enterprise Structured Cabling, and Professional Services business practices and supporting company-wide strategic initiatives such as the successful launch of a women’s focused employee resource group. Prior to joining Vision, Campitelli has held various senior leadership roles overseeing global and national programs in the Federal and Commercial sectors driving growth and optimizing performance by leveraging her skills with strategy development, program execution and structured process improvement initiatives. Her extensive background in operations, strategic planning, and leadership will be invaluable in her new role as Co-President.

Taylor Carr, who also joined Vision in early 2022, has a proven track record of delivering results within leading technology, systems integration, and service organizations. In his Senior Vice President of Operations role, Carr oversees Vision’s Commercial Data Center Practice, Electronic Security Practice, and Estimating Teams, while assisting the company with its broader operational initiatives, recently establishing new business strategies that are already driving growth and maximizing profits. His expertise in technology trends and industry insights will contribute significantly to the company’s continued growth in his new role as Co-President.

Together, as Co-Presidents, Campitelli and Carr will work collaboratively to steer Vision through its future endeavors, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of technology innovation and continues to deliver exceptional value to its customers. This approach to leadership is highly successful in the market and their complementary skills and shared vision for the company’s future make them the ideal choice to guide Vision into its next chapter of continued success and innovation.

Commenting on his retirement, Nolan stated, “It has been a privilege to lead Vision Technologies from its foundation 23 years ago to the leading integrator it is today, and I have the utmost confidence in Allison and Taylor’s abilities to guide the company forward. I am proud of what we have achieved together, and I look forward to witnessing the continued success of Vision Technologies under their capable leadership.”

The entire Vision team expresses its gratitude to Nolan for his outstanding leadership and contributions to the company. His retirement marks the beginning of an exciting new era for Vision, as the organization remains committed to its mission of transforming industries through technology integration and world-class experiences.
