Vision Technologies Recognized as a Safety Ambassador by the American Ladder Institute

ALI American Ladder Safety Ambassador

GLEN BURNIE, MD, February 11, 2021 – Vision Technologies, Inc. (Vision), a leading systems integrator has been recognized as a Safety Ambassador by the American Ladder Institute (ALI), due to its commitment to the safety and focus on encouraging its employees to complete ladder safety training.

“As part of our ongoing dedication to safety, every employee receives relevant training on safety for their position that goes far beyond the regulatory requirements,” stated Vision’s Safety Superintendent Richard Hatcher. “As Safety Superintendent, I conduct random job site inspections and will perform training at the site to ensure the safety of our employees.”

Vision makes safety a top priority, encouraging all employees that use ladders to participate in ALI’s free, online ladder safety training on demand at www.laddersafetytraining.org, which includes training modules in English and Spanish.

The Safety Ambassador program was developed by ALI to commend companies who have shown a dedication to the safety of their employees by encouraging participation ALI’s Ladder Safety Training program. Companies join the Safety Ambassador program by having 20 or more individual employees complete the Ladder Safety Training program and earn their Ladder Safety Certificate.

“The Ladder Safety Training Certificate program was developed to encourage those that are working from heights to make sure they are putting safety first,” said Ryan Moss, President of ALI’s Board of Directors and CEO of Little Giant Ladders. “Ladders are consistently on OSHA’s top 10 list of citations, and there are injuries and even deaths that occur as a result of the misuse of ladders every day in the United States. It is our hope that the Safety Ambassador program will encourage employers and employees to take advantage of ALI’s free, on-demand training program in hopes of decreasing the number of costly citations and creating a safer work environment.”

ALI’s training covers the proper selection, care and safe use of all ladders, including stepladders, single and extension ladders, articulated ladders and mobile ladders. Upon the completion of a safety training program and quiz, participants have the opportunity to earn a ladder safety certificate.
