GLEN BURNIE, Md. – July 8, 2025 – Vision Technologies is proud to announce that Katie Turner, Chief of Staff, has been named a 2025 Leading Woman Under 40 by The Daily Record. The Daily Record's Leading Women Under 40 awards honor women 40 years of age or younger for their career accomplishments.
Winners are selected based on their professional experience, community involvement and commitment to inspiring change. Honorees were selected by a panel of previous Leading Women Under 40 honorees and a representative of The Daily Record.
“Katie's exemplary leadership has been a tremendous to Vision Technologies, and we are thrilled to celebrate this significant achievement,” said Demian Seeley, Executive Vice President at Vision Technologies. “She steps into the importance of any moment without requiring certainty and is an ideal team player — one that is humble, connects with people, and is results-driven.”
As chief of staff at Vision, Turner guides the company's leadership through strategic plans and helps it navigate change. Her biggest impact was leading the company through the launch of a new ERP system. Most recently, she also spearheaded Vision’s first intern cohort program, creating a repeatable structure and ensuring guidance and development for young college students.
Before joining Vision, Turner held various global leadership roles in operations, supply chain and customer service at Under Armour, where she led a multilayer organization across Germany, France, the Netherlands, and the UK, servicing the EMEA wholesale and distributor business. She also most recently worked at Amazon Web Services. In all of these roles, she was known for driving operational excellence, process improvement and people development. Turner has also served as an adjunct professor at the American University Kogod School of Business and as a coach and volunteer on the board of directors for the Severn River Rugby Board.
"I am honored and proud to represent Vision within this incredible group of honorees,” Turner remarked. “To be nominated by my colleague for my work creating environments for others to succeed, both professionally and personally, means the world to me and fuels my desire to continue to do so. In athletics, work and life, the same remains true: We can accomplish far more together than we can alone, and I am grateful for the opportunity to do so daily with the team at Vision."
The 2025 Leading Women Under 40 will be honored at a reception and awards celebration on August 21 at Gertrude's Restaurant, located at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Read more about the honorees and the event on The Daily Record website.
