OUR COMMITMENT IN ACTION
At Vision Technologies, our commitment to “Making Giving a Reality” is a value deeply rooted in our culture. For over two decades, our team has partnered with local and national nonprofits, contributing almost $1 million to numerous organizations across the nation and establishing the John L. Shetrone, Jr. Scholarship to support the next generation of industry leaders. We are honored to contribute to our communities and are proud to make a tangible, lasting impact.

2025: Feeding America
This year, teammates across the company voted to support Feeding America, an organization building a hunger-free America. Support Vision Technologies in our effort to “Make Giving a Reality” and raise critical funds to support Feeding America and its network of 200 partner food banks to meet the need across the U.S. and Puerto Rico.47 million people in the U.S. are facing hunger. Many are working families, children and seniors. Every $1 raised through Team Feed Corporate will provide at least 10 meals for people in need of food assistance.

Past Charities
This year, teammates across the company voted to support NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness. NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of all those affected by mental illness. NAMI provides education, support, advocacy and awareness so that we all live better lives. The support, outreach, and education they provide to those suffering with mental illness, as well as for the families of loved ones who are suffering is truly vital. This movement advocates for elevating mental health, creating access to care and help, ending both harmful stigmas and harmful practices, and empowering youth. It has the potential to be game-changing and life-changing for millions of people.
Thanks to donors, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened more than 50 years ago. And that’s something we can all agree on to celebrate!
Determined to end veteran suicide, K9s For Warriors is the nation’s largest provider of highly-trained Service Dogs to military veterans suffering from PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and/or military sexual trauma. In support of the charity program, Vision sponsored the adoption and naming of a rescue dog, Monti, who was paired with warrior, Donald.
For nearly 100 years, the American Heart Association has been fighting heart disease and stroke and helping families and communities thrive. In 2021, Vision raised over $42,000 to benefit the American Heart Association through events such as the annual Vision Technologies Charity Golf Tournament and the American Heart Association Heart Walk.
United Way supports in helping families facing poverty worldwide obtain access to housing, employment, affordable food, healthcare, and quality education through donations and volunteering.
